Adam Austin Smith is an American filmmaker, originally from the "Bootheel" of Missouri. He writes and directs narrative films that blend southern goth with science fiction elements. A first-generation graduate of Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) and founder of 'Wishing Whales,' he now lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While working primarily in commercial production, Smith is actively building his narrative career as part of Wisconsin's underrated filmmaking scene.
